Around 90 stipends of KAS Kazakhstan met in a mountain resort (Lesnaya Szaska) in Almaty region from August 30 to September 1. They discussed strategies for Central Asia between the big powers Russia, China and European Union. Challenges of domestic security and governmental strategies were either discussed, also the function and control of secret services. Furthermore the stipends developed ideas to establish a global network of KAS stipends.
