Thomas Helm, Head of KAS in Kazakhstan, placed the communicative management of political crises at the center of the training. The participants had the opportunity to train the communication crisis on practical examples from the region.

In addition to the training, the Akim (governor) of the Kyzylorda area, Krymbek Kusherbayev, held a more than an hour-long talk, which laid the basis for further cooperation between the local authorities and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.

The Konrad Adenauer Foundation is currently making a research on the coexistence of ethnic groups in the Republic of Kazakhstan. In the format of a round table, a meeting with the eleven most important ethno-cultural associations of the Kyzylorda region took place in the House of Friendship (Dostyk) on the 15th March. Over 20 representatives of the ethnic groups had mostly appeared in their traditional dresses. There was a very lively and friendly exchange.

Following the training in the regional Akimat, a presentation of the KAS Sur-Place scholarship program took place in the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda State University. The presentation took place in the format of a townhall meeting. Over a hundred participants took the opportunity to intensively interview the head of the KAS office about an hour and a half to get all the details.
