Climate change and social inequality in the Andean region

The workshop aims to address issues of energy, water and food security in the Andean region (the mountainous region) from a perspective that includes both climate change and strong social inequalities as background factors.

Furthermore, we propose a nexus perspective that focuses on the multiple relationships between the three areas - water, energy and food – and in the different scales involved in the formulation and implementation of integrated policies.
