On July 13, 2010 leading Christian Democratic MP Manfred Grund and former Chinese Ambassador Mei Zhaorong delivered keynote addresses about the bilateral relations. The speeches were delivered at a conference jointly hosted by the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung.
