Member of German Bundestag Frank Heinrich (CDU) visited KAS in Yaoundé, Cameroon, recently. Members of the delegation were Mr. Peter Stamm, Corporate Affairs Officer of the company WILO and board member of the German Water Partnership, and Michael Kersting, Manager Business Development of Herman Sewerin GmbH.
The main focus of the visit were similar to the extensive interests and responsibilities of Mr. Frank Heinrich, but the German-Cameroonian cooperation in the field of water management was on the daily agenda. In this context, KAS held an event on the 9th of April 2018 in its premises in Yaoundé, which gathered numerous representatives from the government, opposition, administration, economics and science of Cameroon. During the interesting exchanges with representatives of the visiting delegation, the state of water supply, national issues of water policy as well as regional water security issues ( for example in the Lake Chad Region) were discussed.
