Thomas Helm, Head of the Representative Office of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung in Kazakhstan, presented the topic of combating corruption from the German perspective (legislation and institutions) and started a discussion among Kazakhstani specialists. The discussion involved consideration of Kazakhstan's experience in the field of corruption and the search for answers to optimize the situation and further developmen t of the country.
The participants of the seminar were employees of the General Prosecutor's Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance, the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service and Anti-Corruption Affairs, as well as employees and students of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies attached to the General Prosecutor's Office.
