Competent experts and discussion partners Prof. Dr. mult. Matthias Kramer (TU Dresden) and Dr. Tobias Pohl (CDU/CSU-parliamentary group) came to the southeast Kazakhstan from Germany. Tobias Pohl inspired the participants with his lecture about energy security; Matthias Kramer, who with his chair has developed a strong focus in the field of environmental economics, put water management at the center of his presentation. The water management has a cross-border character, thereby the experts from Kirgizstan – Dr. Vladimir Korotenko and from Tadzhikistan - Dr. Shokir Hakimov were invited. Head of the Office of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) in Kazakhstan Thomas Helm presented the topic about the raw materials agreement of 2012.
