Political Analysis and Communication of the SDS

Workshop

In cooperation with the SDS-Institute (IJP), the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung organized the 1st workshop of the series: "Political Analysis and Communication" on March 26th, 2022 in Ljubljana. During the workshop, SDS party members discussed with communication experts the strategies of political communication, the models of digital communication as well as the importance of the public appearance of the top candidates in election campaigns.

3rd Workshop

The Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation organized in cooperation with the Institut Dr. Janez Evangelist Krek (IJEK) of the Slovenian party "New Slovenia" on March 18th to 19th, 2022 in Rimske Toplice, Slovenia a workshop of the series: "Political Analysis and Communication". During the workshop participants discussed with communication experts the characteristics of the electorate, the importance of political communication in election campaigns and models of media communication.

Together with the Dr. Jože Pučnik Institute (IJP) of the Slovenian Democratic Party (SDS), the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung organized on March 11, 2022 in Slovenska Bistrica a celebratory event where representatives of the SDS party leadership and the founder of the Institute Gorazd Pučnik discussed the democratic developments of Slovenia with members of the Slovenian parliament and representatives of civil-society.

Earthquakes - an opportunity for energy-efficient building renovation?

Radio Show

Together with the Web portal ZGRADOnačelnik.hr, the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung organized on March 8th, 2022 a radio show about the current condition of buildings in Croatia with particular reference to the aftermath of the earthquake and ways to renovate buildings in terms of energy efficiency. With representatives of a City Housing and Municipal Services Company, Marko Šarić and Domagoj Šešok, we talked about the challenges and opportunities of post-earthquake reconstruction and energy transformation. During the radio show we also discussed the issues of climate change, waste management and revitalization of urban and rural areas.

Building a fundraising culture in Croatia

Seminar

On March 3rd, 2022, the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and the Croatian County Association (CCA) organized a seminar on "Building a fundraising culture in Croatia" as part of the "Yellow Dot" project. The seminar aims to help build a successful fundraising culture in Croatia, to improve the level of knowledge about fundraising in society, to promote the exchange of experiences on good fundraising practices and to establish a fundraising profession as one of the key functions in any non-profit organization.

30 Years of Croatian-German Diplomatic Relations

Remembering the Past and looking Forward into the Future

Together with the Croatian Statehood Foundation (ZHDZ), the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung organized on February 18th, 2022 in Zagreb a hybrid discussion on the subject "30 Years of Croatian-German Diplomatic Relations" regarding the 30th anniversary of international recognition of the Republic of Croatia. During this event, the President of Women in the EPP, the President Robert and Schuman Institute and member of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, Doris Pack, PhD., spoke with the Adviser to the Croatian Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs and Security, former Deputy Prime Minister and former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Croatia Prof. Mato Granić, Ph.D., on good diplomatic and bilateral relations between Germany and Croatia since its independence. The discussion was also attended by the German Ambassador to Croatia, Robert Klinke, Ph.D., and Croatian Ambassador to Germany, Gordan Bakota via video link.

The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung organized together with the Croatian Statehood Foundation (ZHDZ) in Rovinj an Alumni meeting for the participants of the Seminar "Women in Politics" on February 18th, 2022. In the presence of Doris Pack, Ph.D., President of Women in the EPP, President Robert and Schuman Institute and Member of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, participants from all alumni generations discussed the role of women in politics and the current challenges of the Republic of Croatia.

Workshop

The Konrad Adenauer Foundation organized together with the Croatian Statehood Foundation (ZHDZ) a workshop called Political Academy Plus from 28 to 30 January 2022 in Virovitica. With the participation of the Croatian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of the Republic of Croatia, Dr. Tomislav Ćorić, and the protocol expert of the Croatian Parliament, Zdeslav Perković, the participants discussed the challenges of Croatian financial and economic policy in relation to the introduction of the euro, the features of the European Green Deal policy and the basics of the political and diplomatic protocol.
