On November 22nd, 2018 Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in Israel, together with the Centre for the Study of European Politics and Society at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, organized a study day on the topic of ‘Israeli-European Diplomacy over the Years’ in Jerusalem.

A Journalists' and Think Tankers' Delegation to Brussels

In cooperation with the Center for the Study of European Politics and Society at the Ben-Gurion University of Negev, the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Israel organized a delegational visit to Brussels from the 7th – 12th of October 2018. Under the theme “The Media and the European-Israeli Relationship”, Israeli journalists and Think discuss this topic with representatives of the EU institutions and the Jewish communities in Belgium and the EU.

Together with the German-Israeli Lawyers Association (DIJV) KAS Israel organized a lecture on the topic of "Activites of NGOs in Israel" in Kibbuz Dalia on September 6, 2019.

Tech2Peace: Peacemaking and Technology im Negev

Vom 5.8. bis 17.8.2018 kamen in Yerucham, im Süden Israels, im Rahmen des erstmalig stattfindenden Tech2Peace Seminars insgesamt 30 Israelis und Palästinenser zusammen, um gemeinsam Programmieren zu lernen.

Vom 16. bis zum 20. Juli besuchte eine Delegation des Bundesvorstandes der Jungen Union sowie der Jungen Gruppe des Deutschen Bundestages Israel, das in diesem Jahr sein 70-jähriges Bestehen feiert.

בשיתוף פעולה עם יוזמת ז'נבה וקואליציית השלום הפלסטינית, ערכה קרן קונרד אדנאואר בישראל סמינר-דיאלוג למנהיגים צעירים ישראלים ופלסטינים מהמגזרים העסקיים והפוליטיים בניקוסיה, קפריסין. הסמינר נמשך 3 ימים ועסק בעתיד הסכסוך הישראלי-פלסטיני ובפתרון שתי המדינות.

Zweites Treffen: Der Beitrag der Europäischen Union zur regionalen Sicherheit

Zum zweiten Treffen des „Adenauer Young Foreign Policy Network“ hatte KAS Israel die Ehre, den EU-Botschafter in Israel, Emanuele Giaufret, und den ehemaligen israelischen Botschafter bei der Europäischen Union und der NATO, Oded Eran, begrüßen zu dürfen. Als Teilnehmer waren Vertreter verschiedener europäischer Botschaften, NGOs, der Knesset, Think Tanks sowie Journalisten und Wissenschaftler zugegen. Die Nachwuchskräfte im Bereich der Außenpolitik hatten die Gelegenheit, sich mit den Diplomaten über den Beitrag der Europäischen Union zur regionalen Sicherheit und Stabilität auszutauschen.

Shifting Global Dynamics: Implications for Arms Control and Stability

From the 2nd to 3rd July, 2018 the INSS Arms Control and Regional Security Program (INSS) and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) invited more than 25 high-level experts in the field of arms, arms control, disarmament and international security matters to Israel. These government and political decision makers, international academics, and technical experts from Russia, USA, France, England, Israel and Germany at the INSS institute in Tel Aviv, Israel cam to discuss the impact of the shifting global dynamics on Arms Control and stability for the international community.
