Wilfried Martens Center for European Studies (Belgium) and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (Belarus) are implementing common project “Places of memory: a European perspective on overcoming past trauma”. Three round tables will be held within the framework of the project.
The second round table will be held on April 21, 2022.
Topic: "The battlefield as a place of memory: from confrontation to understanding".
During the round table experts from Belarus, Belgium, Ukraine and Finland will share their opinions on the topic:

Olesia Isaiuk, Doctor of Humanities, historian, researcher at the Center for Liberation Movement Studies and "The Lontsky Street Prison Memorial Museum ", Ukraine
Maarten Van Alstein, Doctor of Political Science, historian, senior researcher at the Flemish Peace Institute, Belgium
Martti Häikiö, Professor, historian, Member of Martens Center Academic Council, Finland
