The 1st workshop within the series had a purpose to direct and shape the work during the whole project. This is why the choice of the first skill to develop has fallen on work in team: Tibi Borza, Co-Founder/Managing Partner at MindOFF Group (Romania) and Bogdan Popescu, Managing Partner at Cube Training (Romania), gave the participants a practical training on how to interact with each other in order to help them build better work relationships and promote greater understanding and effective communication between the participants. The participants understood the importance of playing to different strengths and skills, recognised the need for clear and effective communication, understood the challenges of problem-solving within teams, as well as have taken part in team-building activities to enhance their team’s performance. They have a chance to use this ability throughout the next seminars and workshops as work within the Discussion Club requires not only debating, but also communicating with each other and invited trainers and experts.

Second part of the workshop was a continuation of the first, with emphasize on the development of leadership skills working alone or in a team. In order to improve theoretical knowledge, a field study to a company (MB Kreiva nosis) was made. During the visit and lecture, on a positive example of company’s manager and his story, the participants learnt what means to be a leader.
