Climate change is not something that will only affect us in the far future. Even at this moment, it impacts every country and various areas around the globe are experiencing extreme weather events, biodiversity loss, and sea level rise.
The Philippines, in particular, is highly vulnerable to climate change. However, our situation will only worsen if we fail to implement effective and necessary interventions to climate change, especially as its impacts contribute to exacerbating current and emerging challenges in governance and impede progress toward inclusive and sustainable development.
In this spirit, the publication aims to contribute to ongoing efforts to address the climate crisis. We hope the ideas and initiatives shared by committed individuals and organizations in these pages help inform, inspire, and encourage participation in collective solutions for humanity’s future.
