The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Office in Albania and the National Museum of Surveillance “House of Leaves” will host an evening reception and the premiere of “Parallel Lives”, a film by Alex Productions, on the occasion of the visit of Dieter Althaus, Former Minister-President of Thuringia and Member of the Board of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung.
The film tells the stories of Albanian soprano Merita Sokoli and Soviet star tenor Wadim Kosin, whose parallel lives unfolded under two communist dictatorships. Their stories shed light on artistic freedom, persecution, individual courage and the experience of living under political repression.
