In order to fully grasp Albania’s path to European membership, it is important to have a general understanding of the European Union, its integration processes and the inner workings of its institutions. Therefore, The Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Albania organizes an informative panel with the title “Learning Europe and Acting Europe: Explaining and involving the process of integration” in Shkoder on the 13th and 14th of November 2021. Interested participants will be able to widen their horizon and knowledge of the European Union’s history, structure and policies. This panel aims to explain the importance of young people within the integration process and provide a platform for discussions on the challenges and difficulties faced along the way. Understanding the meaning of an European citizenship will create enthusiasm and ownership of the process. This project will contribute to the approach of raising political awareness and including Albania’s youth into important political issues.
