With this scholarship, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation supports talented young people in the Baltic states and gives them the opportunity to focus on their studies and further develop their political and social commitments.

Requirements

• Latvian, Lithuanian or Estonian citizenship
• Enrolment at a state-recognised higher education institution in Latvia, Lithuania or Estonia
• Political or social engagement
• Very good academic performance

 

The scholarship amounts to €200 per month and is awarded for up to two years. Applicants are admittable from the second year (i.e. the 3rd semester) of their Bachelor's degree programme.

Required application documents (in German or English) are:

• Letter of motivation
• Curriculum vitae with photo
• Letter of recommendation from a representative from the field in which the students are active alongside their studies or from a university lecturer
• Confirmation of enrolment from the university
• References of previous experience
