Besucherprogramm für Wirtschaftswissenschaftler und Forscher der Chinesischen Akademie der Sozialwissenschaften (CASS)

Inlandsprogramme der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung

In Begleitung unseres Leiters des Auslandsbüros in China, Thomas Awe, hält sich derzeit eine Gruppe chinesischer Ökonomen und Politikberater der Pekinger Akademie für Gesellschaftswissenschaften in Deutschland auf (Berlin, Hamburg und München), organisiert vom Team Inlandsprogramme. Die Delegation diskutiert im Rahmen binationaler Fachgespräche finanz - und wirtschaftspolitische Themen um eine Bestandsaufnahme und Lösungssuche vergleichbarer Problemfelder in China und Deutschland durch fundierten Erfahrungs - und Meinungsaustausch zu tätigen.

KAS/DAAD-Workshop „Auswärtige Kulturpolitik“

In einem Auftaktworkshop „Auswärtige Kulturpolitik“, der von der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung und dem Deutschen Akademischen Austauschdienst DAAD gemeinsam durchgeführt wurde, entwickelten Chinesische Studierende kreative Ideen, um Politik, Wirtschaft und Kultur Deutschlands besser in China vermarkten zu können.

Im Rahmen des Seminars „Dialog auf Augenhöhe – Politikanalyse der deutsch-chinesischen Beziehungen“ inspirierte Dr. Stefan Friedrichs Vortrag „Die Arbeit der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung zur Förderung des politischen Dialogs zwischen Deutschland und China“ einen interdisziplinären deutsch-chinesischen Diskurs.

Social Media and National Development

European-Chinese Workshop

Together with the Shanghai Association of Interpreters (SAI), KAS Shanghai organized an European-Chinese Workshop on Social Media and National Development, in which the importance of social media for political and social communication within the country, as well as for the relations between states and societies have been discussed. Participants included representatives from academia, non-governmental organizations and representatives of German and French cultural institutes.

1. German-Chinese Forum

The German-Chinese Relationship after the Formation of the New Governments

With a new "German-Chinese Forum" KAS Shanghai created a new platform to discuss current topics of politics, economy and society of bilateral interest in Germany and China. The platform was set up in cooperation with the Germany Research Center of Tongji University in Shanghai and the Center for Global Studies at the University of Bonn.

Trade and Climate Change

13th SUIBE-KAS WTO-Conference 2013

In the fight against global climate change, the importance of trade is often underestimated. As the largest trading nations in the world, China and Germany share a particular responsibility. At the Annual WTO Conference, jointly hosted with the Shanghai University of International Business and Economics (SUIBE), the impact of the global trading system on climate change and possible solutions on a national and international level were discussed.
