Details
At the beginning of the 21st century, Eurpe encounters enormous challenges. Political and econimic plans and decisions can also be made after careful consideration of the global context. This symposium, which is held in memory of the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the European Economic Community (EWG), will focus on topics like energy resources, jobmarket- and economic policy, worldwide peacekeeping and the dialogue between the European Union and China. The programme of the now running German EU-presidency will also be presented and discussed.
This symposium will be jointly organized by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the Institute of European Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and the Institute of World Development at the Development Research Centre of the State Council.
