The topic of this year's FU Berlin-Fudan University Summer School was “Global Responsibilities & Conflict Resolution - Chinese and European Perspectives”. In the framework of this two weeks course, the KAS office Shanghai hosted a panel discussion on: “Different Patterns of Conflict Resolution: China & the EU”. What can Asia learn from the experiences of the European communication and integration? Which role do remembrance and reconciliation play?

2014 KAS Model United Nations in Hangzhou

Das Auslandsbüro der Konrad Adenauer Stiftung in Shanghai veranstaltete vom 20. bis zum 22. Juni 2014 in Hangzhou eine Model United Nations (MUN) Konferenz zum Thema „Responsibility to Protect - Eine neue Herausforderung für die internationale Gemeinschaft?“ 34 internationale Studenten mit unterschiedlichem Ausbildungshintergrund nahmen als Delegierte der 5 permanenten und 10 nicht-permanenten Mitglieder des UN-Sicherheitsrates sowie als Vertreter von 4 internationalen Medienorganisationen an der Konferenz teil.

2014 KAS Model United Nations in Hangzhou

From 20 — 22nd June 2014, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation Shanghai office held a Model United Nations conference on the topic “Responsibility to Protect – A New Challenge for the International Community?” in Hangzhou/Province Zhejiang. 34 Chineses and international students represented 15 delegations of the UN Security Council. Four media representatives "spiced up" the debate by providing news on crisis scenarios.
