This document presents a diagnosis of the textile sector of the City of Buenos Aires and a proposal to promote the circular economy by favoring the reinsertion of textile discards generated in the production stage and post-consumer textile waste.

VISION AND OBJECTIVES:

The vision of this roadmap is to place the City of Buenos Aires as one of the first governments at the local and regional level to take measures to increase the circularity of textile materials, impacting on the decrease of their burial.

This requires public-private cooperation and the application of a strategic plan that articulates lines of action framed in the three links: production, consumption and post-consumption.
