The project seeks to position the climate and environmental agenda in the political parties from their programmatic plans, and to achieve this it is necessary to carry out a diagnosis of the reality of the countries after the situation within the parties and on the results of those meetings. an x-ray of the situation for the proposal of strategies that are adapted to each party (considering the different situations) but with the common objective of promoting the climate and environmental issue from the formation to the interior of the parties, as well as political communication strategies to the positioning of the parties in the preferences of the voters.

The workshop that took place in Montevideo (Uruguay) had 3 defined moments that led to group work and concrete proposals to begin the path of laying the foundations for the issues within the parties: either with the creation of an environment secretariat or with strengthening it so that its voice can be heard at the decision-making table.

The first part of the workshop consisted of an analysis of reality, and as many times ideological biases or getting used to "not seeing beyond the bubble" lead to not perceiving situations in society that are developing and from one moment to the next. others can explode (as in the case of the demonstrations in Chile in 2019), which served to carry out an exercise in self-analysis of the parties and how the situation is perceived on the street, by voters and in political competition. From this first part we can rescue 2 words: perceive and self-analyze.

The second part of the workshop consisted of how to disseminate and establish political climate ideas in the parties, for this it is necessary to manage narratives that reach people's emotions in the first instance and then, like a seed that germinates, install the message and grow. strengthened. However, it is necessary that, without leaving the traditional spectrum in which the parties related to the KAS Foundation position themselves, reengineering is carried out within the parties so that, based on the adaptation of reality, they can later transform it as a result of the sum Attention+Intention. Attention so that in a hyperconnected and hyperstimulated world we can generate interest for the necessary time and Intention to take advantage of that time and transmit the message in such a way that it sinks in, settles, is assimilated and then spreads.

Finally, all the participants committed to making real, measurable and impactful progress within their parties to continue the work of political positioning next year.
