Riots are not rare in Nigeria, and in many cases they involve numerous casualties. In an environment always filled with tensions, dutiful and adequate behaviour of Nigerian armed forces is extraordinarily important to restore security.

Together with its partner IMPACT, KAS enables army officers to confront crises in an arbitrating and controlling way. This tenth training for some 100 officers takes place at the NACOL Campus in Lagos. As in the years before, selected officers come together and are actively assisted to implement methods of conflict prevention and management.

Another aim of this seminar is it to strengthen the officers to take into account the likely outcomes of their decisions. This shall contribute to the deescalation of conflicts in the country.
