The purpose of this conference is thus to bring together leading decision-makers from the government and the business community from Macedonia and its neighbours, in order to share experiences and lessons learnt on how to benefit and profit from the European Union IPA funds. Moreover, the organisers want to focus the presentations and discussions on the Macedonian situation, so that the economy as a whole and local businesses in particular can become more competitive in the largest free market area of the world (the EU economies) with the support of the EU financing instruments.
