The annual Political Academy for active politicians is designed as a combination of civic and political education as well as training for leadership skills. Its main purpose is to strengthen the knowledge and roles of party members, politicians and mandate holders with a clear vision for the progress of the Republic of Macedonia based on the main values of freedom, justice, solidarity and sub-sidiarity. The Academy will bring active party members and politicians together who strive to see Republic of Macedonia as a member of the European family through the promotion of an efficient government policy on all levels of society and a free market economy with a social consciousness.

The Political Academy provides theoretical knowledge and practical skills on the principles of a democratic political culture with discussions and exchange of experience with international experts.

Aims of the Academy

To inspire party members and politicians to discuss among each other and to help to establish and include new generations of progressive people who are interested to become active politicians in the future

Specific aims

Participants increase their awareness about the values and organization of modern European people’s parties

Participants acquire knowledge and skills about political communication

Participants use the acquired skills and knowledge to influence their local political development
