Within this event, two papers will be promoted by the author Denis Presov, the papers are analyzing the current reforms in the judiciary and their alignment with the EU priorities.

The first paper "Judicial reforms in the Republic of Macedonia:changes without reforms? analyzes the Judiciary Reform Strategy for the period 2017-2022, emphasizing on the reforms in the Judicial Council. The second paper titled "The Constitutional Court Lost in the Judicial Reforms" deals with the constitutional judiciary in the Republic of Macedonia, referring to the potential positive impact that the Constitutional Court might have on the judiciary through the prism of the above-mentioned judicial reforms.

The monitoring of the reforms is part of the "Perform on Reform" project implemented by IDSCS in cooperation with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung.
