KAS Ramallah

Organised through the KAS in Ramallah, 20 young journalists were given the opportunity to talk to a representative of the Palestinian Negotiations Affairs Department about the current negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.

These informations were further enhanced through a lecture given by Dr. Hans Heyn, the head of the KAS office in Ramallah. In a short presentation he provided the group with an overview about the work of his office in and the political situation on the ground.

Finally, the group met with several Palestinian journalists in order to talk about subjects relating press freedom and freedom of speech.
