Since the implementation of the Palestinian Academy for Integrity NAZAHA, many projects and strategic programs have been put in place to further develop the goals of the Academy. NAZAHA seeks to raise awareness about the risks of corruption and develop mechanisms to successfully combat it. This goal is reflected in its focus areas such as education, training and community cultural development and manifested in a set of activities and programs that have been established over the last year.

NAZAHA aims to develop a generation of Palestinian expert trainers and integrate the acquired skills, methods and tools, to employ these in the general practices undertaken by decision-makers at various levels. Among the most notable activities that NAZAHA implemented over the past months were (a) holding a customized training course to qualify trainers (Training of Trainers (TOT)) and (b) signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Anti-Corruption Commission.

The TOT course was designed for a group of experts and trainers whose are specialized in integrity and combating corruption in fields such as law, public administration and project management. Seventeen trainers were chosen according to certain criteria. The five training days witnessed a great interaction between the participants in the exchange of knowledge and the issues of corruption or integrity they encountered during their careers. The training was able to achieve the desired goal, which is to teach the participants the various methods of transmitting information in the most effective way possible.

Furthermore, according to the Memorandum of Understanding with the Anti-Corruption Commission, a training manual for combating corruption was prepared which acts as a manual that addresses the risks of corruption in the Palestinian public sector.
