The Konrad Adenauer Foundation supports this important Memorandum. Fostering the development of the rule of law in the Palestinian Territories is one of the foremost objectives of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation Ramallah. The long lasting partnership with the Institute of Law at Birzeit University is a manifestation of this objective. One of the main fields of cooperation is the development of a legal database Al Muqtafi to provide access to a bilingual database containing all laws that are valid in the Palestinian Territories. The database is meant to provide the foundation of and be the main point of reference for both legislation and jurisdiction.
