TURKISH ECONOMY: WHERE DOES THIS ROAD LEAD?

The economic crises of 1994 and 2001 dam-aged the Turkish economy greatly. It took a long time and high costs before the Turkish economy was able to recover. Turkey, through the guidance of Kemal Derviş (who was then Minister of State for Economic Affairs), managed to successfully navigate the 2001 crisis and restore macro-economic stability.
