1. KAS Turkey Scholarship for Young Journalists

Baha Güngör, who came to Germany from Istanbul in 1961 at the age of eleven, was the first Turkish newspaper volunteer to be trained in Germany. In the 1980s he reported as a correspondent first for the "Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung" (WAZ), later also for the German Press Agency from Istanbul and Ankara. Many journalists of Turkish origin regard him as a great role model.

SYRIAN REFUGEES IN TURKEY

It has been 8.5 years since the March 2011 outbreak of chaos in the aftermath of the protests against the regime of Syrian president Bashar Al-Assad, and the civil war that followed. In Syria, whose population was 22.4 million in April 2011, at least 465,000 people have lost their lives since 2011 , hundreds of thousands of people have been injured, and more than 6-7 million Syrians have been displaced within the country. The chaotic environment in Syria has resulted in the most serious refugee exodus in the world’s history. According to UNHCR data, the number of Syrian refugees who have sought asylum and been registered in the five neighboring countries is 5,626,914 as of August 2019, of which 3,643,870 reside in Turkey.

SYRISCHE FLÜCHTLINGE IN DER TÜRKEI

Achteinhalb Jahre sind vergangen seit dem Chaos nach den Anti-Regime-Protesten und dem darauffolgenden Bürgerkrieg in Syrien im März 2011. In Syrien, dessen Bevölkerung im April 2011 22,4 Millionen betrug, kamen nach April 2011 mindestens 465.000 Menschen ums Leben , Hunderttausende wurden verletzt und 6-7 Millionen Syrer mussten im Land ihren Wohnort wechseln. Das Chaos in Syrien verursachte auch den schwersten Flüchtlingsstrom in der Weltgeschichte.

TÜRKİYE’DEKİ SURİYELİ VE DİĞER MÜLTECİLER

Suriye’de Mart 2011’de başlayan Başkan Başar Esad rejimi karşıtı protestolar sonrasında yaşanan kaos ve ardından iç savaşın üzerinden 8,5 sene geçti. Nisan 2011’de nüfusu 22,4 milyon olan Suriye’de Nisan 2011 sonrasından en az 465 bin kişi hayatını kaybetti, yüzbinlerce insan yaralandı, 6-7 milyonu aşkın Suriyeli de ülke içinde yaşadığı yeri değiştirmek zorunda kaldı. Suriye’deki kaos ortamı, dünya tarihinde yaşanan en ciddi mülteci akınına da neden oldu.

Preise in den Kategorien Nachricht, Fotografie und Seitenlayout

Sven-Joachim Irmer, Leiter der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in der Türkei, hat in Istanbul die Preisträger des 19. KAS-Lokaljournalistenpreises ausgezeichnet. Irmer lobte das Engagement der türkischen Lokaljournalisten. Auch Georg Birgelen, Generalkonsul in Istanbul, fand lobende Worte für die Preisträger.

"444 Tage EU-Türkei-Vereinbarung: Erwartung und Umsetzung"

Als Input für den Expertenworkshop: „444 Tage EU-Türkei-Vereinbarung - Erwartung und Umsetzung“ verfasste Herr Doz. Dr. Murat Erdoğan, Leiter des Forschungszentrums für Migration und Politik (HUGO) von der Hacettepe Universität für die Teilnehmer den Text „Syrische Flüchtlinge in der Türkei“.

SMEs AND GREEN ECONOMY

Vom 13. bis 16. April 2016 fand der Workshop „SMEs and Green Economy" in Kiew/Ukraine statt. Die Veranstaltung wurde von der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) in Kooperation mit dem Permanent International Secretariat of the BSEC (BSEC PERMIS) organisiert.

Der Preis unterstreicht die langjährige und bewährte Zusammenarbeit zwischen der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung und dem TJV. Jetzt stehen die Preisträger 2016 fest.
