“The Innovative Potentials of the Digital Culture and AI”

The Conference “The Innovative Potentials of the Digital Culture and AI” took place from the 8th till the 10th of July 2021in the historical Büyük Efes Hotel in Izmir, Turkey. The wide variety of panelists consisted of young entrepreneurs, international students, politicians and several professors. The main objective of the dialogue program was to address new potentials for smart environments of any kind. The current developments in Turkey and Europe were analyzed and interpreted in a collaborative way. The necessity of cross-boarder collaboration was pointed out once more and the panelists got a common conclusion on the importance of sharing their knowledge. 

The event clearly showed, that the integration of new technologies into different cultural settings can be a bit tricky, but if it is done right, it cannot just change the Turkish and German Society, but also the way we life. A homogenization of the public sector and its understanding of new technologies is the necessary next step.

The ethical questions and the necessity of a modernization have to be addressed thoughtfully. But this reforming process of the current framework is not sufficient due to the changes in our whole way of living due to the pandemic. Younger generations and the the economic world have to play a big role in this reformation process and cross-boarder collaboration is the key to it.
