The active participation and the great interest of the students in the second Migration Certificate Program have shown how useful and successful the program is.

The certificate program deals with one of the most important topics that has strongly influenced the whole world and especially Turkey in recent years, in order to provide students with an interdisciplinary as well as subject-specific approach to the topic of migration. The 5-day program will be enriched by social activities such as film screenings and excursions in addition to numerous specialist lectures. The aim of the certificate program is to provide students in Turkey with knowledge, information and intercultural skills based on scientific principles through lectures by the most renowned scientists in migration research. With the establishment of this discussion platform the perception of young students of migration issues should be sensitized.

In addition, by involving the aid organizations and excursions active in the field of migration, the participants can build up a network that opens up new career perspectives for them.
