Mit einem Anti-Viren-Programm ist es längst nicht mehr getan. Schon die Debatte um den „Bundestrojaner“ hat gezeigt, welche neuen Verletzbarkeiten durch das Internet entstanden sind: Wir sind von einem Funktionieren der IT-Struktur abhängig, der weltweite Datenaustausch lädt ein zu Industriespionage, Manipulation von sozialen Netzwerken – aber auch Sabotage von Wirtschaft, ziviler und militärischer Infrastruktur sind bei Weitem keine Zukunftsmusik mehr.
Wie nutzen Hacker, Terroristen, Extremisten, Industriespione und Militärmächte das Internet? Sind Bundeswehr, Behörden, Infrastruktur und Wirtschaft für diese Bedrohungen gewappnet? Welchen Herausforderungen aus dem Cyberraum müssen sich demokratische Akteure heute stellen?
„Cybersicherheit“ scheint für viele noch eine Nebensächlichkeit, gewinnt jedoch rasant an Bedeutung. Müssen wir alle umdenken, wenn wir in Zukunft sicher unsere Telefone, Notebooks, Tablets und PCs benutzen wollen?
