Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the planning and organisation of international media conferences and other events
• Supporting the planning, implementation and evaluation of our online communication activities
• Making translations from German to English and vice versa
• Conducting qualified research on media issues in South East Europe
• Office tasks
• You will work closely with colleagues of the KAS Media Program’s team in Sofia and report directly to the Head of the office. The working language is German.

Your profile:

• Student or alumni in journalism, political science or other humanities
• Experience in editorial work and/or professional online communications
• A strong interest in politics and media in South East Europe
• Excellent knowledge of English and German language
• Basic knowledge of a Slavic language and the Cyrillic alphabet is an advantage
• You also impress with creativity, initiative, organisational skills, team spirit and competence in intercultural communication!
