Funding, independence and adapting to the digital era are packed with issues which African public broadcasters share across the African continent. To face these challenges and exchange solutions, participants from different African countries come together at the annual PSM 2025 at Johannesburg, South Africa, on the 3rd of October 2025.
Supported by KAS Media Africa, the SOS Support Public Broadcasting Coalition (SOS) organized this year’s event. It includes thought-provoking engagements aimed at encouraging policy and law makers to develop forward-looking policies and legislation that will ensure the long-term sustainability and relevance of public service media. The symposium also presents a unique opportunity for cross-continental collaboration and partnership building.
