Details
From 18th to 20th of November 2026, the Fourth International Live Journalism Festival will bring together journalists, storytellers and media professionals in Berlin to explore innovative ways of presenting journalism to live audiences.
With the support of KAS Media Africa, Melony Ishola from Nigeria, Kgaugelo Masweneng from South Africa, and Abaas Mpindi from Uganda will share perspectives and experiences from the African media landscape. Melony and Kgaugelo will talk about their experiences with the KAS Reporter Slam Africa, while Abaas will present a live journalism event held in Kigali.
We hope, their participation will strengthen the exchange between African and international journalists and create new opportunities for future collaboration.
By combining journalism with the immediacy of live performance, the festival offers new ways to make complex stories accessible, emotional and engaging. It also creates a platform for international cooperation and strengthens professional connections between media practitioners from Africa, Germany and beyond.
