Communication Skills, Lobbying & Advocacy, Social Enterprise Development & Tour of the Parliament of Namibia
This year's 7th KAS-TEP Programme concluded with Session 3 at the Klein Windhoek Guest House from 20 to 24 October 2025.
The third and final session of the 2025 KAS-TEP 7th Intake concluding on 24 October 2025, bringing together 16 youth representatives from civil society from across Namibia for an inspiring week of growth, learning, and collaboration.
Throughout the week, participants sharpened their skills in Communication, Advocacy, Lobbying, and Social Enterprise Development, guided by dynamic facilitators including Hermien Elago, Nicodemus Aipumbu, and Peninna Haimbodi. Highlights included an impactful Parliament of the Republic of Namibia tour, hands-on storytelling sessions, and a deep dive into building sustainable social enterprises.
The week wrapped up with a formal engagement with Ester /Nanus from the National Planning Commission of Namibia on the importance of collaborations. Delegates celebrated their annual engagement as part of this dynamic KAS funded initiative with a certificate handover ceremony on the last day, where they were joined by KAS-TEP Alumni. Closing remarks by Mrs Anna Hoffmann-Kwanga, Resident Representative of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, offered key reflections on the journey and growth of Namibia’s next generation of changemakers, whilst emphasising the importance of the KAS-TEP programme in providing beneficiaries with an added networking advantage in comparison to other leadership programmes. Similarly, encouraging insights were shared by facilitators and reflections by the KAS-TEP Alumni for the road that lies ahead for Namibia's civil society sector and youth as well as the importance of their support of the Government in boosting development and uplifting communities.
