Organized by WPS - We Protect our Seas, the Dialogue brought together diplomats, government officials, scholars, experts, think tanks, young leaders, and other stakeholders to discuss the pressing issues shaping ASEAN's maritime security landscape—from advancing regional cooperation to countering disinformation and malign interference.
As part of this engagement, KAS proudly supported a special panel discussion on "Safeguarding Subsea Cables as an Emerging Security Challenge." The session underscored the growing strategic importance of subsea cables, highlighting key vulnerabilities and potential policy responses to enhance their protection, especially within ASEAN.
