Details

Twenty-six cabinet officials and key personnel actively participated with the acting Regional Governor Ansaruddin Adiong.

Special focus of the said workshop was on individual leadership stories, understanding of the Autonomous Regions of Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) challenges with particular emphasis on the importance of working together as a team, creating a vision / mission for ARMM, assessing case studies, establishing, engaging and mobilizing ARMM’s stakeholders, as well as a mock “cabinet session.” During this cabinet session, projected ‘quick wins’, vis-a-vis the complex challenges post the change of leadership in ARMM in December 2009, were developed.

Many cabinet secretaries shared that this is the first time that they were given opportunities to develop internal coordination within the ARMM Regional Governance. Despite the hectic schedule and the occasional heated discussion, the three days were important to build team dynamics for greater ‘bonding’ and unity as they collectively designed quick wins for the whole ARMM bureaucracy and for each department.

Alonto, Sr., Attorney General Pangilamun Mamowalas, Technical Management Services Director Romeo Diocolano, Office of the Development Authority Executive Director David Ali, Regional Planning and Development Office Executive Director Diamadel Dumagay, ARMM Social Fund Project Manager Engr.
