The series of trainings on EU integration organized by KAS concluded with the Municipality of Fushë-Arrëz, aiming to familiarize local staff with key aspects relevant to their work in the context of accession preparations.
On the first day, we were welcomed to a meeting by the Mayor of Fushë-Arrëz, Mr. Hil Curri, to discuss in greater detail the needs and challenges currently faced by local government in Albania.
On the second day, discussions focused more broadly on the stage Albania has currently reached in the integration process, as well as on the role that local government can play in this regard. This was followed by a training session for municipal staff on how to apply for EU funding and how to better communicate their projects.
