The exhibition "Unforeseen journey's of life" was inaugurated for the first time in Shkodër on Tuesday, after it was already presented during the Memory Days 2025, jointly organized by the Institute for Media, Democracy and Culture and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation Office for Albania.
The exhibition shows 40 portraits of men and women who were once politically persecuted or oppressed by the communist regime in Albania, accompanied by their painful life stories.
The photographs taken by Dong-Ha Choe will be exhibited throughout the month at the Site of Witness and Memory in Shkodër, the first museum in Albania dedicated to the crimes of communism and the only one set up in the premises of a former prison that operated during the communist dictatorship.
