As part of the training series on EU integration with municipalities, we held another seminar last week with the Divjakë Municipality staff. Together with our experts, we discussed the impact that opening EU accession negotiations has at the local level and the essential role municipalities play throughout the membership process. We also placed special focus on the EU’s approach to social policies and welfare.
During the training, we were pleased to welcome the Mayor of Divjakë, Mr. Josif Gorrea, the local Member of Parliament, Ms. Ana Nako, as well as other representatives from local institutions.
