On Wednesday, November 5, in cooperation with OSCE Albania, we organized a discussion forum on compensation schemes for former political persecuted persons in Albania, where the study on this topic, authored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Enkeleda Olldashi, was also presented.
The forum brought together former political persecuted individuals and representatives of their associations, state institutions dealing with transitional justice, members of parliament, and students, to discuss the existing challenges and the necessary legal amendments that would enable a faster and more effective implementation of compensation schemes.
