As part of a tour across the Western Balkans, two Members of the German Bundestag from the CDU, Tilman Kuban, Spokesperson for European Affairs of the CDU/CSU Parliamentary Group, and David Preisendanz, Member of the Committee on EU Affairs, held a series of meetings in Tirana.
The visit focused on political developments in the country and Albania’s progress in the European Union integration process. Among others, they met with the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani; the Minister of Defence, Pirro Vengu; the Minister of State and Albania’s Chief Negotiator, Majlinda Dhuka; as well as the Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha.
