Training with the staff of the Shkodra municipality

"The European integration process and the role of local administration" was the topic of the training we held last week with the staff of the Shkodra municipality to discuss the challenges and opportunities on Albania's path to the European Union.

During the training, several thematic sessions were held on the role of local administration in the integration process, the alignment of Albanian legislation with EU law, as well as the implementation of projects under the IPA programme South Adriatic. In her welcoming speech, the Deputy Mayor of Shkodra, Ms. Teuta Qyteza, emphasized the importance of local administration as a crucial link in Albania's process of rapprochement with the European Union and highlighted the need to strengthen the capacities of the local administration to improve services to citizens.
