The round table will discuss how local authorities should engage with citizens on energy transition challenges to fight energy poverty and provide sustainable living. It explores ideas on how an open approach of local government can lead to improved governance of these complex issues and engagements for concrete proposals on renewable energy community projects.

The discussion will be enriched by parliamentarians, representatives of central and local public institutions, civil society organizations, academia, energy business community and donor organizations, aiming to improve National Plan of Energy and Climate and the new draft law of “Promoting Renewable Energy Sources”.
