During their stay in Greece, the German guests also visited KAS Athens. After a presentation on projects and activities of KAS in Greece by Susanna Vogt, Alexis Komselis, Director of the ALBA Hub for Enterprise & Development at ALBA Graduate Business School, The American College of Greece, presented current developments and problems of the Greek education system. The expert criticised the exaggerated formalism, the national allocation procedure of university places and the poor linkage of theory and practice within Greek study programmes.

Konstantina Zoehrer, social entrepreneur and initiator of STARTup Live Athens, subsequently gave an overview of the start-up scene in Greece, which would be one of the most innovative business sectors in the country by now.

The following discussion focused on current political developments, the situation of the vocational training system in Greece and the various reform approaches.
