Greece and Turkey Facing the Migration Crisis

Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and Navarino Network, hosted Greek, European and Turkish experts on migration in Thessaloniki 3 days before the EU-Turkey Summit.

Only a few hours before the crucial EU-Turkey Summit on Migration, KAS and Navarino Network put together a public event on "Greece and Turkey Facing the Migration Challenge".

The speaker were:

  • Can Ünver, Vice President, Turkish Foundation for Services to the Society (TOVAK), Ankara
  • Alexandra Stiglmayer, Senior Analyst, European Stability Initiative, Brussels
The discussion was moderated by Dimitris Keridis.

On the same day, experts on migration from Greece and Turkey met in a closed workshop to discuss about challenges and opportunities in coordination.
