With the aim to enhance contacts between Greek and German parliamentarians, a delegation of members of the Committee on Foreign and Security Policy in the Greek Parliament came to Berlin for political talks. The MPs Miltiadis Varvitsiotis (ND), Konstantinos Tassoulas (ND), Dimitrios Saltouros (PASOK), Maria Yannakaki (DIMAR) and Vassilis Chatzilabrou (SYRIZA) met, among others, the representative of the Greek-German Assembly, State Secretary Hans-Joachim Fuchtel MP, and Michael Hennrich MP as well as the Deputy Secretary General of KAS, Dr. Gerhard Wahlers, and the Deputy Head of Department for European and International Cooperation, Frank Priess. The group agreed on an intensified cooperation of the Members of Parliaments of both countries, in particular with respect to the reform process in Greece.
