This is the second event with European Movement Ireland in 2022, all of which focus on the theme of Supporting Democracy. This event will discuss the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the implications for European security and other policy areas. We will also examine the EU’s response to the war, Ukraine’s future in Europe and arising geopolitical developments.

The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and European Movement Ireland invite you to an online event, ‘Supporting Democracy and Security: The War in Ukraine’.

This is the second event with Euroepean Movement Ireland in 2022, all of which focus on the theme of Supporting Democracy. This event will discuss the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the implications for European security and other policy areas. We will also examine the EU’s response to the war, Ukraine’s future in Europe and arising geopolitical developments.

These issues will be examined from Irish, German and EU perspectives.
