For this year's Dinner Debate we were proud to welcome David McAllister MdL as keynote speaker, with Quentin Peel of the Financial Times presenting a response. Mr McAllister's speech outlined the objectives and sentiments of the CDU and the European People's Party in the context of the upcoming elections for the European Parliament in May 2014, and in line with the theme of the evening 'Shaping Europe's Future'. Questions were welcomed from the floor and a lively, wide-ranging, and informative debate ensued.
